However, it can get very complicated if you really don't know what you're doing. I remember when I got my first bearded dragon about last year. I had other reptiles but never a bearded dragon. But I had never built an enclosure for any of my pets. I guess it also depends what type of enclosure you want to make. Some people just make tanks. Others go all out and create masterpieces with wooden doors, etc. I decided to start small and build a glass tank, since I needed one for my new beardie. I did know that many fish hobbyists built tanks so I went to a few sites and forums to get ideas on how to build one. My dad knows a thing of two about building and using tools so with his help I got a nice tank. Another thing to consider is research the rest of the requirements in your tank for your beardie. Like for my beardie I kept hearing to use washed playsand. But I went to a few forums and ended up getting repticarpet. I also heard so much about uvb that confused me and I ended up getting Zilla Desert bulbs and so far they've worked great. So what I'm trying to say is that when you're building your setup, you need to make sure you not only research how to make the outside but the inside as well.
