Which Dog Breed Is Right For You And Your Family?

great daneBefore you decide to adopt a dog you should really know as much as you can about the different dog breeds and the dog breed characteristics.

Before adopting a dog you also need to take a serious look at things in your lifestyle such as your budget and your time availability.

The first thing to think about when deciding to adopt a dog is how much you can afford to spend on your dog and how much your budget will allow.

Certain breeds are more prone to medical and health issues. And certain breeds and sizes will eat a lot more food than others.

Also consider how much time you have to devote to your new and adopted dog. Some dogs need more attention than others and there are some dogs that are high energy and need much more exercise than other dogs.

For example a Labrador needs at least a daily walk or run while a Greyhound or even a Great Dane are known for being lap-dogs and you could get away with only walking them a few times a week, if that.

So before you adopt a new dog and bring him or her into your home make sure to do your research first and select a breed that you know you will be able to afford and you know you will have enough time to spend with that dog.
