		<description><![CDATA[The only pet peeve I have with parakeets, and your great article reminded me of that, is that either you are best friends or you are nothing.
I mean, if you get one, you need to spend a lot of time with him and you guys will become best friends. 
But if you somewhere in between with free time and you decide to get him a bird buddy, you can almost forget about being friends.
It is so much harder to get them used to human interactions when there is more than one.
